Vitrine do Pão

Orders for dates and events
Every order starts with a message to the bakery's e-mail address. There the bakery asks for what it needs to plan the batch: the date and time of collection, the quantity, the type of product and, for cakes, the flavour of the sponge, the filling and the topping.
With that information, the pastry team replies confirming what can be produced for that date and what needs adjusting. Only after that reply is the order considered arranged. Large orders, such as trays by the hundred or bread for a whole event, need more notice, because they go into the oven schedule.
Collection takes place at the counter on Rua Quinze de Novembro, on the day and at the time agreed by e-mail. The invoice comes with the order. Changes to quantity or flavour need to arrive before production begins.

Counter questions
- Does the bakery deliver?
- No. Everything ordered is collected at the counter on Rua Quinze de Novembro, on the day and at the time agreed by e-mail. That way the bread reaches the person who ordered it just as it left the oven.
- Is there a minimum quantity for orders?
- It depends on the product. Cakes start from a single unit; savoury snacks and bread for events are planned by the tray or by the batch. The reply to your e-mail says what is possible for the date requested.
- Can I ask for something that is not on the counter?
- Requests outside the menu are considered case by case, according to what the pastry team can produce with the ingredients and the oven it has. Write describing what you have in mind.
- Does the order come with an invoice?
- Yes. Every order leaves with an invoice, in the name of the person or company that placed it, according to the details given by e-mail.
- How do I know the order was accepted?
- Through the bakery's reply to your e-mail. Until that confirmation arrives, the order is not yet in the oven schedule.
- Can I change the order after it is confirmed?
- Changes to flavour or quantity are possible as long as production has not started. After that, the bakery lets you know what can still be changed without affecting the batch.
